Coach Renshaw- Head Varsity Coach
TJ is entering his 7th season as the Head Baseball Coach of the Memorial Warriors. He grew up in Frisco and graduated from Frisco High School. At Frisco High School he was a 4 year letterman in baseball. After high school Coach Renshaw continued his playing career at McMurry University. He was a 4 year letterman and a member of the 2004 ASC Championship team. Coach Renshaw began his coaching career at Frisco Wakeland High School and was an assistant coach there for 12 years. He and his wife, Lauren, have two children Piper and Paxton.
Coach Smith - Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Smith is from right here in Frisco, TX. He is a graduate of Frisco High School, class of 2002, where he played football and baseball. He played college baseball at Tyler Junior College, Northlake, and McMurry University. He received his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Coach will be entering his 14th year in education and will be coaching football and baseball at Memorial. He and his wife, Annie, have two boys, Ty (13) and Cy (10). Coach Smith enjoys golfing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
Coach Baxter - Head JV Coach
Trevor Baxter is entering his second year coaching and second year with the Memorial baseball program. Trevor played college baseball at Richland Junior College and then went on to transfer to the University of Texas at Dallas to finish his baseball career. Trevor earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology at University of Texas A&M - Commerce in December of 2022. Coach Baxter was a volunteer coach at Lovejoy High School prior to joining Memorial High.
Coach Reyes - Head JV2 Coach
Coach Reyes comes into his first year at Memorial with 4 years of teaching and coaching experience. He previously served as a Varsity Baseball Assistant and JV Head Baseball Coach at Hillcrest High School in Dallas and has been a part of several playoff runs. He also serves as the Quarterbacks coach for the football program. Coach Reyes grew up in Dallas, Texas where he was immersed in a world of sports from a young age. Inspired by his father, a seasoned coach, he developed a deep-rooted passion for both baseball and football. He attended Texas A&M University, earning a B.S. in Industrial Distribution from the School of Engineering. Coach Reyes is recently married to his wife Lauran who is a cheer and dance coach in Dallas and are eagerly waiting for the arrival of a baby boy is late March. He enjoys the mountains, hiking, and spending time with family.
